MID-BACK PAIN RELIEF. 👌
.⠀
Work today can be a real pain in the back, especially for desk workers. The thoracic spine was meant to move, and if it's locked in a seated position for too long it can lead to many issues:⠀
.⠀
👎 shoulders rounding forward, causing less range of motion.⠀
👎 brachial plexus nerve impingement, causing tingling in the hands.⠀
👎 round (or hunchback) appearance of the upper back⠀
👎 forward head posture causing strained muscles and ligaments⠀
👎 tension headaches⠀
👎 PAIN, STIFFNESS, TIGHTNESS, and a CRAPPY MOOD 💩
.⠀
So here's a quick thoracic mobility stretch that can be done anywhere, at home or work. Give it a try!⠀
.⠀
HOW TO IMPROVE T-SPINE MOBILITY:⠀
1️⃣ Arms up on a wall.⠀
2️⃣ Tilt hips back.⠀
3️⃣ Lower chest towards the floor.⠀
4️⃣ Move one arm slowly across the body.⠀
5️⃣ Go as far as possible while trying to move only the mid-back, NOT the lower back.⠀
6️⃣ Go back to starting position, then repeat on other side.⠀
.⠀⠀
