HERE'S AN EVERYDAY LOWER BACK STRETCH.⠀

This stretch is one of my personal favorites. It helps loosen and open up the back (and the whole side for that matter). It stretches the lower back muscles, the quadratus lumborum (core/ab), all the way to the lats in the upper back.⠀
.⠀
So basically it's not just a low back release, but a whole side release too. ⠀
.⠀
This stretch can be done in short 10-second holds all the way up to 2-minute holds. Keep going until there's a release and the muscles start to loosen up. ⠀

HOW TO DO IT:⠀
1️⃣ Sit on the floor.⠀
2️⃣ Bend one leg and place that foot on the inner thigh of the other leg.⠀
3️⃣ Keep the other leg straight.⠀
4️⃣ Sit up with good posture (nice and tall).⠀
5️⃣ Rotate the upper body so it's in-line with the leg that is straight.⠀
6️⃣ Raise the arm overhead. ⠀
7️⃣ Bend and reach!⠀
