We're all guilty of bad posture while using modern technology these days, and we're paying the price by getting an achy neck, upper back, or shoulders. 💥 If it's done repeatedly, there might even be a noticeable change that's causing unsightly forward head posture.⠀

What happens with constant leaning forward while using modern tech, is that we're contracting (or tightening) muscles and building tension. This tightness leads to everything being pulled forward in a fixed position. Also, it leads to issues like decreased flexibility and pain.⠀

So lets stop forward head posture in its tracks with 3 simple exercises that are going to focus on retracting (or bringing back) the head, neck, and shoulders into better alignment. ⠀

THE FIX:⠀
➡ chin tucks to help retract and strengthen neck muscles⠀
➡ modified shrugs to bring rounded shoulders backwards⠀
➡ thoracic extension to loosen tightness in the upper back and decrease the forward pull of tight chest muscles. ⠀
