Using a therapy ball  to elevate an ab workout is a great idea. In fact, research shows that even doing crunches with a ball can be twice as effective as those done on the floor. ⠀

In addition to strengthening the core muscles, therapy balls can offer so much more. It can tone muscles throughout the back, hips, pelvis, and legs to help improve:⠀

Since using a therapy ball is more challenging, muscle endurance (how long the body can go before it slows down to call it quits) may also be improved. This helps with allowing for more activity throughout the day and less fatigue.⠀
